One example of this is the relocation of "Horizons by heise," an established conference for digital transformation, to the historic Old Town Hall. This step underscores Hannover's importance as a location for future digital technologies.
The city of Hannover has set ambitious goals: A "digital town hall" is intended to make the administration more efficient and citizen-friendly. With a digitization fund of 48 million euros, software solutions will be developed and IT specialists will be hired in the next five years.
